Does permanent makeup HURT?

The answer is NO! During the process, a topical anesthetic (numbing cream) is applied! Therefore there is very little to no discomfort at all! The pain level is very minimal.

How permanent is permanent makeup?

The answer is not permanent at all! Permanent makeup will generally last 3-5 years. This is great because it keeps the door open for versatility with the look you want!

Is permanent makeup the same as a tattoo?

The answer is NO! Permanent makeup is done in a similar method as tattooing because you are implanting pigment into the dermis (putting colour in the skin). The results are similar but the results don't last as long.

What exactly is microblading?

Microblading involves a handheld tool called a microblade which tattoos on individual hair strokes with an artistic technique. There is no machine that is used but the microblading artist hand draws each hair to match the colour, shape and bone structure of your eyebrows. The results are a natural looking eyebrow that lasts overnight and does not wipe off! Semi-permanent for 1-2 years.

How do I know that I will like the way it looks?

The answer is simple. Before your brows are done, we pencil in a shape to perfectly frame and compliment your face. We can change this shape as much or as little as needed until it is perfect for you! Your brows are evaluated based on your face and what looks the most flattering, to accompany your expressions and your personality to bring out your features and bone structure.

What if I have light hair or no eyebrow hairs? Do my eyebrows get shaved?

If you have light hair a different pigment is used to create the most natural look. Microblading involves creating hairlike strokes to add shape and fullness to your current existing brows and is still achievable with no eyebrow hairs. Your current existing eyebrows do not get shaved.

How long does microblading take?

1-2 hours. The microblading process itself usually last 30-45 minutes, the other 30-45 minutes involves going over eyebrow shapes and picking the correct colour pigment.

I got my brows done a week ago and they were much darker than expected? What is the healing process?
